Please Help Sidney fight for her life

Dear friends and family, I come to you with a very serious and urgent need for Sidney Clemmons. She’s 29 year old mother of two precious daughters. This fundraiser is to support Sidney with expenses in her journey to recovery . On May 25, 2025, she suffered a traumatic anoxic brain injury from her brain being without oxygen for an extended time. She was in full cardiac arrest when she arrived at the hospital, but the good Lord was able to breathe life back into her body!! They only gave her a 40% chance of even surviving, against all odds she fought to be removed from life support and was breathing good on her own until they had to place a trach to insure her airways stay clear. We are struggling to find a brain rehab center that will accept her Medicaid insurance so she may begin the long road to recovery. We are being told the only place that will accept her in is Virginia and we will have to pay for transport to the facility. We are hoping to find somewhere closer, but of course we are gonna take any opportunity we can to go ahead and start her therapy. She has come out the coma, and is a vegetative state, which is a normal stage recovering from this type of injury She is slowly progressing to a minimally conscious state, which is imperative to start the brain therapy process as soon as possible for the most positive outcome. We appreciate anything you could give, and for the many calls, texts, and most of the all the prayers!! She has extensive damage to her cerebellum, the part of the brain that controls personality, memories, movement, and love.This sweet girl still needs all the prayers we can get, she still in very critical condition. While she may not be the person we once knew, we are trusting GOD that she can some fraction of what she was and show happiness and interact with her daughters, we will be so thankful Sidney is full of personality, always smiling and NEVER met a stranger. Most of all she tried to help anyone she could with that big heart of hers, ever so thoughtful of others ! Her mother, Patsy Clemmons, sisters, grandma, aunts, family, and a host of friends have been at her side, praying for a miracle of full recovery in Jesus name. We are grateful for Gods grace and mercy so far in this devastating experience
