Hi, my name is Stephanie and I am the 2nd oldest of my dad, Francisco. Many people know him by Javier, Javi, and sometimes Fran. Right now, my family and I are passing through one of the hardest moments, and any help would be greatly appreciated.

On Wednesday afternoon at 4:34 pm, my dad unexpectedly lost consciousness. When ambulance arrived he was still down and we later learned he had lost his pulse for a total of 10 minutes. They were able to shock and revive him, but his brain is our biggest concern right now. His brain was without oxygen for 10 minutes, and there have been some side effects as a result, such as seizures and high fever. He’s currently in the ICU and we are unsure how much longer he will be here for. My dad just began chemo on Tuesday and since March we have been handing a lot of baggage on our own regarding his colon cancer diagnosis and the 10cm mass he had removed mid-March.

We were making it by with my mom’s paychecks and my cousin, siblings and I were all able to pitch in enough to get by but this situation is having us cut back on our workload so we can be here for our dad. My dad has 5 kids total as most of you know it’s Javierin, Diana, Matthew Noah and I.

My dad was never one to ask for money and I remember when he had his surgery in march and we were discussing something to help with his hospital bills. He was 100% against it he did not want anyone to pity him or look at him in any other light than the strong, hardworking and independent man he is. My dad is one of the most hard-headed people I know and he would probably yell at me for opening up a page like this because “There’s people that need it more than us” but I have faith there are people that are willing to help.

I know my dad is a fighter and I know every single cell in his body is fighting to get better. I have faith he can hear all of us praying for him. I have faith he can hear all of us who have visited him. More than anything I have faith God can hear our prayers and he is going to bless us with a miracle. We ask you guys keep my dad in your prayers, pray for his recovery.

Tranding Fundraisers

I’ve created this fundraiser on behalf of my dear friends, Sarah and James, who are enduring every parent’s worst nightmare — the loss of their beloved son, Leo.

We’re heartbroken to share that our dear friend Alex passed away far too soon. His light, his laughter, his incredible spirit — they touched so many, and his absence is deeply felt.

Hi everyone — Angela here, writing on behalf of Matthew (for now). On December 6th, completely out of the blue, Matthew suffered a severe stroke.
