I’m Bianca. I’m a full-time worker, artist, and survivor of chronic pain that’s made eating feel like punishment for over a decade. The pain stems from complications after a gastric sleeve surgery, and imaging recently confirmed my stomach is now shaped like an hourglass and twisted in a way that traps food and causes intense discomfort. On top of that, I’ve also developed a hiatal hernia.
After trying every treatment, medication, and even having my gallbladder removed, I’ve finally been approved for gastric bypass surgery — my best shot at finally being pain-free.
The surgery is mostly covered by insurance, but recovery is not. I’m raising $3,000 to cover:
• Out-of-pocket surgical costs
• Post-op medications and care
• Time off work while I recover
• Emergency basics to get through recovery safely
If life were normal, I would’ve saved for this. But in March, I was wrongfully arrested, and I’ve been paying $500/month in legal fees ever since. That unexpected hit is why I’m here — not because I didn’t prepare, but because I’ve been hit from all sides.
If you’ve ever had to hold everything together while falling apart, or if you just want to help someone finally get to the other side of chronic pain—thank you. Your support means more than I can put into words.
