Hi, my name is Yan, today is my mom MeiMei 78 year old birthday!

Today should celebrate her birthday make her happy, but at the same time she got 3 medical bills today totally $4,468.00 CAD.

Couple weeks ago,she fell can’t see things clearly and feeling Blurred vision, sometimes even tears and pain, that bothered her daily life, can’t eating well,can’t sleep well,After examination by an ophthalmologist costs $2,394 an urgent minor surgery is required.

Two weeks ago, mom accidentally fell at home and I took her to Burnaby Hospital emergency, then today the hospital sent her the bill $2,074

Totally huge amount for her, she is 78 years old, she’s no income, she can’t afford it!

Because her is temporary staying in Vancouver, that’s my fault didn’t check her all the time.

I wish I can help her to pay the bills, but I am a 4 kids (14, 11,7 and 2.5 years old)single mom, working at the front line downtown East Side, stressful with family , and teenage kids,two months ago I fall down at my job and got concussion, I totally forgot about to check my mom’s medicine insurance properly, then now my mom got the big amount of the medicine bills

Mom is a lovely woman,working hard and always teaching me and my kids be a nice person,We wish can get any amount support for everyone of you!
