Love and support, fight against cancer.

For Sylvia L: Love and Support

On September 1st 2024, Sylvia was admitted to Wyckoff Hospital for chronic stomach pain. That same night, she was brought in for an emergency surgery, put in the ICU for 11 days, and diagnosed with stage 4 colon cancer. Since then she has been following up with regular doctor’s appointments, as well as Chemotherapy every other week.

Through it all Sylvia has shown intense determination, and positivity towards her better wellbeing. So far the chemo has been working reducing the severity of her cancer, stopping its growth, but ultimately taking a toll on her energy and hindering her ability to work.

This fund is to raise money to help her offset her time away from work, as well as various medical expenses she will likely encounter indefinitely. While she’s determined to return to work when she’s able, her health must come first as she continues to fight this battle.

Whether you know her from her days working at CBGB’s, Zum Schneider and Oktoberfest, Managing at Employees Only, or simply just as a friend or acquaintance. Knowing Sylvia, you know how special she really is. Her genuine attitude, positive demeanor, glowing personality. Shes always worked so hard for herself as well as being supportive and giving to her friends and community.

Whether you’re able to contribute financially or share this campaign, your support means the world.

Thank you from the bottom of our hearts. Let’s help Sylvia keep fighting—with the love and the support she needs.

Tranding Fundraisers

I’ve created this fundraiser on behalf of my dear friends, Sarah and James, who are enduring every parent’s worst nightmare — the loss of their beloved son, Leo.

We’re heartbroken to share that our dear friend Alex passed away far too soon. His light, his laughter, his incredible spirit — they touched so many, and his absence is deeply felt.

Hi everyone — Angela here, writing on behalf of Matthew (for now). On December 6th, completely out of the blue, Matthew suffered a severe stroke.
