My name is [HAYLEY ROGERS BROWN], and I never imagined I’d be telling this story—let alone asking for help. But here I am, humbly and honestly sharing my truth because life has pushed me into a storm I can’t weather alone.
Eight years ago, I was diagnosed with fibromyalgia—a chronic illness that feels like your entire nervous system has turned against you. It’s more than pain. It’s tightness, stiffness, constant exhaustion. My body aches from head to toe. And when I push myself even slightly, I crash—dizzy, weak, and in even worse pain.
On top of that, I developed hyperthyroidism—a condition that throws my hormones and energy levels into complete chaos. Medications help, but they’re not a cure. I’m juggling multiple treatments: acupuncture, massages, medications—each offering only fleeting relief.
Then came the rash—spreading from my neck to my arms—and no one can figure out what it is. Doctors are now testing me for lupus, another potential autoimmune disorder. My blood work is off, and the uncertainty is terrifying.
But these physical battles all have a deeper source: emotional trauma.
I lived for years in an emotionally abusive relationship. I didn’t recognize the signs at first—how could I? The slow erosion of self-worth, the manipulation, the constant stress… I carried it all in silence until my body couldn’t carry it anymore. My illnesses were born out of that pain.
Why I’m Raising Funds
I’m raising funds for myself and my healing. This isn’t just about survival—this is about reclaiming my life.
The money will go toward:
Medical expenses (specialist visits, lab tests, medications)
Holistic treatments like acupuncture, physiotherapy, and massage, which are often not covered by insurance
Mental health therapy, which is just as crucial as treating the body
And possibly transportation or support tools, as it’s becoming harder to manage appointments and mobility on my own
Who I Am to the Beneficiary
I am both the storyteller and the beneficiary. This campaign is deeply personal—I’m not just raising funds, I’m raising hope. Hope that I can manage these diseases. Hope that I can heal from the trauma. Hope that I can live a life not defined by pain.
How You Can Help
I’m launching this campaign on [platform name – fundraiser, Kickstarter, etc.], and I’ll be sharing updates on social media so you can follow my progress.
If you can donate, share, or even just send love—every bit matters.
You’re not just supporting a cause. You’re helping someone rise from what felt like the end of everything.
And for that, I thank you with all my heart.
