Lenny’s Fight: Health and Hope Needed

My name is Ambar, and my better half of almost 20 years, Lenny, has Cirrhosis. This terrible disease has slowly been taking his life away. He had been the sole provider once we started our family. Roles changed as of 3 years ago, and I was more than happy to step up. To be completely honest, I could not fill his shoes fully, so changes had to be made to our style of living, but we managed.

We have spent the better part of a month in the hospital this time around, and his condition has turned for the worse. We found out that all his lumbar discs are herniated, and due to his health declining, the neurologist cannot follow through with surgery. To top it off, he now has kidney failure and had to be sedated and put onto continuous dialysis. Needless to say, I’ve been at the hospital with him, talking to endless doctors and authorizing different procedures. I have run out of PTO, and bills are starting to pile up. The most pressing is our vehicle. It is on the verge of being repossessed, and that would make everything so much harder. It is our only vehicle, and I am constantly having to travel between the house with my children since it’s summer and the hospital. Ultimately, we want/need him home. In the meantime, I am asking for prayers and any financial help you could spare. Thank you for your time reading this, may God bless you.

Tranding Fundraisers

I’ve created this fundraiser on behalf of my dear friends, Sarah and James, who are enduring every parent’s worst nightmare — the loss of their beloved son, Leo.

We’re heartbroken to share that our dear friend Alex passed away far too soon. His light, his laughter, his incredible spirit — they touched so many, and his absence is deeply felt.

Hi everyone — Angela here, writing on behalf of Matthew (for now). On December 6th, completely out of the blue, Matthew suffered a severe stroke.
