On May 25, 2025, two days after my brother’s 44th birthday, his life was suddenly taken from us when he was murdered. I never dreamed in a million years that something like this would ever happen! My brother was a teddy bear and loved to make others laugh and had a silly way to everything he did. He loved hard, had a tremendous heart, and would tell others to follow whatever was in their hearts and not let anyone get in the way of their dreams.
My brother is my older, big brother and growing up all I wanted to do was be near him and spend time with him, which he allowed every once in a while. But most of all, he was my protector. But that’s not all he was; he was a cousin, a father, a husband, a stepfather, a grandfather (with another still on the way), and a friend. My brother touched many people and was and still is loved by many.
With all that being said, all I want to do is lay him to rest so he can finally be at peace after such a tragic and horrific passing. Unfortunately, since this was so sudden and my brother didn’t have any life insurance or savings, it has been placed on me to lay him to rest. In these hard times, our family is struggling like so many others and do not have the means to pay for much. I know a lot of people are struggling right now too, so I understand if you can’t help. Please know even a prayer helps. I’m not looking to do anything fancy, just lay him to rest in a peaceful and dignified way that he deserves. I come to you humbly and at the mercy of your heart.
