Keep Aaron Truckin’ Through Tough Times

Our Cheer Family Needs Your Support

Our cheer family is going through an incredibly tough time, and we’re reaching out to ask for your help.

One of our own — Cheer Team Mum, Dani — has now been in the hospital for a total of three weeks, fighting harder than ever.

Day #13 – The Diagnosis

After being rushed to the Emergency Department at Nepean Hospital, Dani suffered an overwhelming 46 seizures in just the first four days of her ICU stay. A dedicated team of doctors, neurologists, and specialists worked around the clock, but for days there were no clear answers.

Finally, after extensive testing — CT scans, MRIs, and countless specialist consultations — we have a clearer picture. Dani has been diagnosed with:

✨ Post-Traumatic Epilepsy due to previous head injuries

✨ Functional Neurological Disorder (FND), triggered by severe past trauma, causing her body to go into “survival mode” and leaving her temporarily unable to move or walk until her muscles release

✨ Severe Complex PTSD (CPTSD) from the immense trauma she has faced throughout her life

Dani remains in the Neurology Ward, doing daily physical therapy to help her walk again, under the care of some of the most compassionate nurses and doctors in the country.

She is surrounded by love, support, and countless messages and prayers from everyone who cares so deeply for her. She is incredibly grateful and sends her love to each and every one of you.

While the road to recovery will be long, Dani is a true fighter — the strongest woman we know — and we love her with all our hearts.

Right now, her partner Aaron — known to so many as “the typical trucker” — is unable to work while caring for his queen and their beautiful family. Aaron has always brought laughter and joy to so many people, both on the road and off it, and got so many through tough times during COVID with his humour. Now, he needs our help more than ever.

As you all know, the cost of living hasn’t been easy, and with Aaron unable to work, the bills still keep coming in. At the same time, their daughter Brooke is preparing for her first dance competition of the year — so keeping up with costume and competition fees while juggling hospital visits and daily life is incredibly challenging.

If you are able to help — whether it’s a little or a lot — your support will mean the world to this family.

Let’s come together and help relieve some of the financial burden for Aaron and his family during this heartbreaking time.

Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for standing by Dani, Aaron, Brooke, Christian and all of us.

Please share, donate, and keep Dani in your thoughts and prayers. Together, we can lift them up and help carry them through.

With love and gratitude, Cheer and Dance family on behalf of Dani and Aaron xo

Tranding Fundraisers

I’ve created this fundraiser on behalf of my dear friends, Sarah and James, who are enduring every parent’s worst nightmare — the loss of their beloved son, Leo.

We’re heartbroken to share that our dear friend Alex passed away far too soon. His light, his laughter, his incredible spirit — they touched so many, and his absence is deeply felt.

Hi everyone — Angela here, writing on behalf of Matthew (for now). On December 6th, completely out of the blue, Matthew suffered a severe stroke.
