My name is Jeannette. I am a friend of Joseph Ramos. We met about 6 years ago at a property we both worked at.
Joseph is 39 years old and has been working in maintenance for 16 years. He has 2 boys Brandon Lee 10 and Jayce 9.
About 3 years ago he started having weakness, numbness and pain in his right arm and back pain. He continued to work as the symptoms increased. Until mid April 2025 when he could no longer ignore the symptoms and was admitted into the hospital for 15 days.
In late May he was sadly diagnosed with Amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS) Also know as Lou Gehrig’s disease. His life expectancy is 3-5 years. This devastating news has affected Joseph and his family and has left him unable to work to provide for his family. It has affected the use of his right side and his speech and his now affecting his left arm. He struggles with daily tasks such as showering and getting dressed since he can’t lift his right arm past his hip. He has applied for disability but as we all know there is a waiting period. I created this Go fund in hopes of helping him raise money to be able to go to all his doctor’s appointments and to be able to provide basic essentials and medical needs without having to stress about money. Please open your hearts and bless him in his time of need. Any and all donations are welcome and greatly appreciated. Thank you for taking the time to read this. May God pay forward any blessing you donate. Please share!
