In honor of dad, a gift for mom.
Our dad never asked for much. One of his only requests was to be cremated and buried under a tree, just like his own father. Mom has chosen a special spot at her house, on the hill, next to Uncle Jimmy’s memorial, where his ashes will be laid to rest.
She’s never one to ask for anything, but she’s often mentioned how much it would mean to have a simple metal cover built there—a peaceful place where she could sit and visit with uncle Jummy, and now Dad, no matter the weather.
We have some amazing men who have offered to build it, and all materials have been priced. We’re hoping to raise $1,000 to make this small but meaningful gift a reality.
