Hi friends,
I’m reaching out on behalf of my dear friend Courtney and her family. They’re back in the NICU with their sweet baby Weston — for the third time — and my heart breaks for everything they’ve been through.
Weston was born with a rare intestinal condition called ileal atresia. He had surgery the day he was born and spent nearly five months in the NICU recovering. He’s already endured four surgeries, and after this most recent one, they’ve learned about new complications that may require even more intervention. What was supposed to be a short NICU stay has turned into a long, painful journey filled with setbacks, feeding struggles, and a mountain of medical bills.
Courtney has taken extended time off work to be by Weston’s side every single day. Between medical expenses, parking, food, gas, and everything in between, the costs have added up — they’re already facing more than $17,000 in medical bills, and there’s still a long road ahead.
If you’re able to donate, share, or just send some encouragement their way, it would mean the world. This family is doing everything they can to fight for Weston’s healing, and any support helps lighten the load so they can stay focused on what matters most.
Thank you for showing up for them. Let’s help lift them up in this incredibly tough time.
With love,
Chelsea
