From Helping Hands to Healing Hands — Let’s Help George Recover
On June 9th, 2025, George Doggett was involved in a horrific head-on motorcycle crash. He was life-flighted to Little Rock, Arkansas, in critical condition. George suffered multiple severe injuries — both legs, both ankles, both femurs, his back, and his hips are all broken.
He’s already undergone surgery, and many more are still ahead. His recovery will be long and painful. George has worked at Maxwell Hardwood for many years, and he will definitely miss being at work and seeing his coworkers during this long recovery.
With no income coming in, his medical bills and monthly living expenses will quickly pile up — rent, utilities, food, and everything in between.
George is known as someone who will drop everything to help someone in need — especially if it involves fixing a vehicle or lending a hand with a tough job. He never asks for anything in return.
We live in a small, strong community, and I’ve seen it myself — we look out for our own in Drew County. Whether you know George or not, he is a part of our community, and he needs us now more than ever.
If you have even $1 to spare, please consider donating. Every dollar adds up, and together, we can help ease the burden while George focuses on healing.
There are other fundraisers already helping George, so if you’ve donated there and are reading this, please just share this message and keep spreading the word.
In addition to this fundraiser, a donation account is being set up at local banks for anyone who prefers to give directly. As soon as that information is available, it will be posted here.
Please keep George in your prayers, and share this with others. Let’s come together and support a good man through the hardest time of his life — so we can reach all of the goals for him.
Thank you for your love, support, and generosity.
