I found my girl, Willow, in pain outside at midnight on June 6. We live in the south, so it was an immediate red flag that my husky was choosing to lie down outside when it was 80°. I found her panting, unable to get up, and not accepting food. I was able to push her to her feet, but she couldn’t stay balanced and could barely walk. When she got inside, she showed signs of abdominal pain and immense discomfort. We rushed her to an emergency vet where they ran bloodwork and x-rays, finding signs of pancreatitis but unable to definitively determine the cause of Willow’s pain. We were able to go home at 4 am on Saturday, but throughout the day, she continued to refuse food. We brought her to another emergency clinic where they could run an ultrasound, and confirmed that she’s suffering from a bad case of pancreatitis. She has been in hospitalization since Saturday, June 7, and will need to remain hospitalized until tomorrow, June 9.
Our bills are amounting to 10k. We are able to afford some of the treatment, but are struggling with the remainder of the bills. We would greatly appreciate help if anyone has the means to donate.
