- My name is Sandra Blackmon. I am starting this fundraiser for my brother-in-law, Robert Blackmon. He has been team driving with my husband, James Blackmon, for 25 years. Recently, he was diagnosed with spots on his lungs that they believe to be lung cancer.
- Robert will be taking off work to get the treatment he needs to beat this battle. His wife, Michele, of 37 years works, and as we all know, when our spouses are in need, we want to be by their side. For her to be with him means she may have to take time off, and her pay will be less. Robert and Michele have lived in Alto, Texas, for 40-plus years, raising their two sons, John and Darrell, and daughter, Samantha. They have three beautiful grandchildren and one more on the way in September 2025. Robert has worked all his life and has helped anyone he was able to.
- Robert’s healthcare is from his job, so with him unable to work and not getting paid for his PTO, he will have to make the payment for his insurance weekly. So, I’m reaching out to everyone. Please help if you can; if you can’t, we understand. Just say a prayer for him.
