Paisley Olivia is just 6 years old and has been diagnosed with stage 4 Rhabdomyosarcoma—a rare and aggressive cancer. Right now, she’s intubated in the pediatric ICU, fighting for her life with every ounce of her strength.
We’re raising funds to help Paisley and her family face this heartbreaking journey. Funds will be covering medical expenses, travel, time away from work, and the many costs that come with a battle like this.
Below is more about Paisley’s story…
Paisley Olivia is a vibrant and playful 6-year-old little girl, full of sugar, spice, and endless giggles. She loves to jam out to a good song and never passes up a hug.
Over the past few weeks, Paisley hasn’t been feeling like herself. When she was first evaluated, her providers believed she was dealing with constipation. Despite receiving an enema, her condition continued to worsen in the days that followed.
On Wednesday, May 28, 2025, Paisley was evaluated at Hasbro Children’s Hospital. Imaging revealed a pelvic mass that was highly suspicious for cancer. On May 30, Paisley underwent a procedure to biopsy the mass and have a port placed for future treatments and labs. During the procedure, the medical team drained 1 liter of fluid from her abdomen and removed several smaller tumors.
On June 3, we received the heartbreaking results of her biopsy: Paisley has stage 4 Rhabdomyosarcoma, a rare and aggressive muscle cancer. She began chemotherapy the same day.
Paisley’s hospitalization has been anything but smooth, with complications at every turn. She has battled pneumonia, fluid in her lungs, fluid around her heart, difficulty breathing, and kidney issues. Currently, Paisley is intubated and in the pediatric intensive care unit.
Throughout this entire process, Paisley has shown incredible resilience and a fight beyond measure. She continues to be a girl who knows exactly what she wants. One visit, she told me to go “shopping for presents” and to get her pajamas, chocolate chip muffins, and bubbles. Another morning, she adamantly requested pepperoni pizza. During her intubation process, she yelled, “No, I’m hungry!” Even in these terrifying moments, Paisley’s spunky spirit has shone through, comforting us all.
We know this journey will be long and challenging. If you feel moved to support Paisley, your donation—no matter the size—will help ease the financial burden on her family so they can focus on being by her side.
We believe in the power of prayer, and at the same time, we understand that spirituality looks different for everyone. However it may look for you, we ask that you keep Paisley in your thoughts—send her healing vibes, positive energy, lots of love, and endless prayers. Every ounce of support means the world to us and helps us stay strong for Paisley.
