At 11:04 PM, Amanda D. Cook went home to Jesus. My mama’s multi-year battle with kidney disease finally came to an end. She is no longer suffering or in pain. In heaven, she joins her Mama and Daddy, as well as her brother and two sisters. She leaves behind one brother, her best friend/adoptive sister, a son and daughter-in-law, five grandchildren, a great-grandson, and several nieces and nephews that loved her dearly. She was truly loved and adored by everyone that knew her. She had a smile that brought joy into every room she walked in. I feel lost without you, Mama. I love you.
As I’m sure you are aware, death expenses these days are out of this world. It’s only been a couple of days and I’m already looking at thousands of dollars. In lieu of flowers, if you are able, please donate to help cover some of these expenses. Mom was on a fixed income and life insurance is practically non-existent. If you can’t donate, please share.
Thank you to everyone that has reached out and passed on condolences. This loss leaves an emptiness I’ve never experienced before.
