Hello everyone, my name is Jasmine, I am fundraising for my aunt, Rosa Maria Armola, who is currently in critical condition at the hospital out in Guadalajara, Jalisco Mexico. This fundraiser is to help her out with her hospital expenses as she is a 58 year old diabetic woman who is currently unemployed.
On April 28, 2025, my aunt had an accident while washing clothes in a washing machine, as she was taking her clothes out of the washer she had a bicep tear and ligament tears on her right arm. After that she couldn’t move her arm again. She was taken to a traumatologist for evaluation and the traumatologist had said that she didn’t need any type of surgery, that with medicine and rehabilitation therapy she was going to be fine. As days went by, she started with an excruciating pain on her hips, she went back to the ER and they performed an ultrasound and they stated that it was not fractured, that it was only hip wear because of her age. Since then, she hasn’t been able to get up form her bed again and continue doing her daily errands like before as it has been 2 1/2 months. In those 2 1/2 months she got a sore on her lower back, which caused even more pain to her hips and passed on to her legs and her knees. Another ultrasound was performed with a diagnosis of diabetic neuropathy (blood clots on her legs), she started a anticoagulant treatment to get rid of the blood clots. 1 week later she had holes in her legs where the blood clots are and it was infected to a point that she needed to be hospitalized as soon as possible. The hospital didn’t want to take her in for evaluation since they had no beds at all which caused her to go back home but she was not doing ok. My family and I had to make a decision to take my aunt to a paying hospital instead, which needs to be paid daily for a total of approximately $265 per day ($5,300 mexican pesos). This hospital evaluated her deeply and my family and I received the worse news of our lifes which we didn’t expect. Her leg is infected by where she has the blood clots as well as her knees, she has infections in her intestines, liver and kidneys due to her diabetic issue. This hospital is taking care of my aunt every second of her life, doing all types of exams, blood test, cleaning out her infected wounds she has but my family really needs help for the expenses. Anything, anything, anything helps, please, we will truly appreciate any type of help for my family.
