Help Restore a Smile: Support for Dental Surgery

I am literally begging anyone to please help me. I am losing my teeth. I am a 36 year old female and I am so embarrassed of I how I look now. That picture is what my teeth looked like. They weren’t perfect but it was me.

In 2016 I got really sick. I started vomiting up to 15 times a day. Sometimes it was like literal acid coming up. After much testing and many new doctors in my life I had to get my fall bladder removed. After the HIDA test it was determined to be at 7% function. It was removed in Dec 2106. I was told I would get better.

Since 2017 I have now be diagnosed with hypermobile EDS, cervical dystonia, fibromyalgia, restless leg syndrome, one or two types of arthritis depending on the doctor, vasovagal syncope which has caused some serious hits to the face, and like that’s just what I can think of. I feel like I as missing some diagnosis or two or five honestly I can’t keep track anymore.

Due to all of that and other reasons my teeth are literally breaking. I open my mouth and pieces sometimes just fall out. At some point I became incredibly vitamin D deficient and I was that way for years. My body was also during all of this stealing vitamins from my teeth. My lowest reading of vitamin D was 6. I am now on an incredibly strong vitamin D pill.

I have no dental insurance. I have no real savings. My family doesn’t really seem to care. I told my mother about needing to have all of my teeth removed and getting dentures essentially and pain I was in she informed me I should just eat soft foods. That way I wouldn’t break my teeth anymore and maybe that would help with the pain.

I just want to smile again. I want to cry everytime I see my mouth. I need help affording getting my teeth removed and replaced. I have already seen a reputable location that makes the dentures in house. I don’t even need the best set I just want something. This place will make a temp set for me about 2 weeks before the oral surgery. I get the teeth removed then the oral surgeon will get the temps set up. I wear those for about 9 months then get the permanent set.

I beg, I plead, I am on the floor crying, please help me. I wish my dad was still alive he would of helped me but he’s not, so he can’t. So I ask random Internet strangers please help me so I can have teeth.

The teeth range in price from round 1300 to 4000. I don’t want to get the cheapest set of dentures like I feel as though it’s just one of those things cheaping out on is a poor decision. I would like to get the set around $2000. The remaining money goes towards oral surgery. I am not positive on how much that’s going to cost but hopefully I can get it done for around $3000.

I work a full-time job. I don’t get any type of assistance for anything. I just can’t seem to do this alone. Thanks for reading it means a lot to me

Tranding Fundraisers

I’ve created this fundraiser on behalf of my dear friends, Sarah and James, who are enduring every parent’s worst nightmare — the loss of their beloved son, Leo.

We’re heartbroken to share that our dear friend Alex passed away far too soon. His light, his laughter, his incredible spirit — they touched so many, and his absence is deeply felt.

Hi everyone — Angela here, writing on behalf of Matthew (for now). On December 6th, completely out of the blue, Matthew suffered a severe stroke.
