Help Ralph and Family with Care Expenses

Hi my name is Caitlin and I’m trying to raise money for my dad (that lovely man in the picture) Ralph. My dad has Parkinson’s disease and we had known for most of my life, however it got worse just this last year and now he has Loui body dementia with it as well. His walking is terrible or non existent depending on the day, and sometimes he doesn’t remember things or thinks he is back in time. Its gotten to the point were myself and my mom cannot care for him due to how dangerous it is for him and we cant carry him if he can’t walk or catch him if he falls (which is a lot). So we use the VA to get help but they just sent him to a rehab nursing home that smelled like death and he got worse so we paid for a caregiver to go and help since the place he was at said they didn’t have enof people to watch him. He still wasn’t getting better so we decided to pay for a nice place for him, its a memory care in a assisted living that is wonderful. They actually care for him and feed him and he’s walking again now. The problem is the caregiver place decided to charge us 10,000 for the month that they came in and sat there with him, and they decided it would be nice to charge all at once and blind side my mom who thought it was coming out in small amounts weekly. They refuse to let us do this in small amounts and asked for it all at once so our credit cards are maxed while still paying 6,000 a month for dad new better place. Our finances are wrecked and we just need a little help. All money will go to my dads medical expenses and living/care. Thank you so much for reading this your support is greatly appreciated!
