Help Please: Urgent Vet Care, Potential emergency surgery

My cat, Hecate ate that plastic ribbon you use on gifts for christmas or birthday wraps, we went to the vet today (06/06/2025) and they want me to hospitalize her so they can watch her and see if they need to do emergency surgery, she swallowed the ribbon on 06/05, and I haven’t seen her make a bowl movement since then, if this does end up an emergency surgery, I cannot pay for it, I am currently unemployed and desperately looking for work, my only other viable option at the moment is to surrender her to the humane society so they can operate on her if need be, but if I do that I cannot adopt her back, I’ve had Hecate since late 2019, I adopted her with my mother when we moved into our new apartment when she was two months old, my cat has honestly been the only thing that’s truly had me waking up in the mornings most days for these last few years, I know it sounds cruel and jaded but shes quite literally the last thing I have of my mother, so the emotional dependency and support I get from her knowing she’s still here is unfortunately a large amount. I can’t lose her too, anything helps, if I could pay this on my own I would, the amount of guilt I have from posting on here when there are countless other people that need this help more than I is immense. Thank you for reading this far if you have
