My sister Patricia was in a serious car accident a few days ago, and since then, our lives have turned upside down. She was rushed to the hospital with multiple fractures, including her pelvis, femur, and clavicle. She will need at least three surgeries to walk again. The hospital has already given us the estimates, but as a low-income family, we simply cannot afford the high medical costs.
