Help Odey Overcome Her Paralysis

My name is Ebele Obiora. I live in New York, and I met a young woman named Odey Elizabeth who lives in Nigeria and is seeking help to commence her treatment. Her story…

“I had an accident in March 2015, and that affected my spine; one of my legs was broken while the other leg is paralyzed, and my two hands are not working well. Life has been difficult for me since then, as I am struggling to walk and get my life back. I have an iron inside one of the legs, and I need surgery to remove the iron before embarking on physiotherapy. I have been in a wheelchair for years and am currently on crutches. Life has been so hard for me; surviving is so hard as I have no financial resources, and I’m just left alone indoors. I’m an orphan, I lost everything, and my business crumbled. I’m the first child, I lost opportunities, freedom of movement, my happiness, and have been living a scattered, indoor life. Please help me, I want to walk again and have a better life. As this really affected me so badly for 10 years+ and still counting. I really need to work to be able to fend for myself, please. I am seeking the amount of $8500 to be able to get this surgery done and get my life back. Thanking you in anticipation.”

Tranding Fundraisers

I’ve created this fundraiser on behalf of my dear friends, Sarah and James, who are enduring every parent’s worst nightmare — the loss of their beloved son, Leo.

We’re heartbroken to share that our dear friend Alex passed away far too soon. His light, his laughter, his incredible spirit — they touched so many, and his absence is deeply felt.

Hi everyone — Angela here, writing on behalf of Matthew (for now). On December 6th, completely out of the blue, Matthew suffered a severe stroke.
