Help me save Gumbo

Hi! My name is Chelsea, and I’m a full-time college student just trying to keep my head above water. I’m already doing everything I can to make ends meet. Now, my dog Gumbo, my absolute best friend, has been diagnosed with cancer. I’m completely out of options on my own.

Gumbo is a 5-year-old schnauzer mix and has been with me through every challenge since I started school. Dog owners will understand how he is so much more than a pet to me. He’s my emotional support, my baby, and my friend. Getting the news that he has cancer was so out of the blue, especially knowing that his treatment is something I simply can’t afford right now. I’ve been crying, struggling to comprehend how this could happen and what I can even do.

I was relieved to hear that the cancer is treatable. Then I was hit with the truckload of costs. Tests, medications, and ongoing care are all adding up fast, and I just don’t have the financial cushion to handle something like this. I’m asking for just enough to help cover the most urgent bills so Gumbo can get the care he needs hereafter.

I know times are tough for everyone, and I wouldn’t be asking if I wasn’t out of options. If you’re able to donate anything, no matter how small, it would make a real difference. And if you can’t donate, just sharing this page would help more than you know.

Thank you for reading and for any support you can give. My Gumbo deserves a fighting chance, and I’m doing everything I can to give him one.

Tranding Fundraisers

I’ve created this fundraiser on behalf of my dear friends, Sarah and James, who are enduring every parent’s worst nightmare — the loss of their beloved son, Leo.

We’re heartbroken to share that our dear friend Alex passed away far too soon. His light, his laughter, his incredible spirit — they touched so many, and his absence is deeply felt.

Hi everyone — Angela here, writing on behalf of Matthew (for now). On December 6th, completely out of the blue, Matthew suffered a severe stroke.
