Help Lillian and Kaiden’s Mom Heal

Hello everyone, my name is Lillian Price. I am the daughter of Melissa Michael Price. Most people know that my mom has been going through a lot of medical issues lately. Usually, we don’t ask for help, but in this situation we are struggling as she is a single mom of two. She was recently diagnosed with diverticulitis last December. Doctors and specialist kept a close eye on her so it wouldn’t perforate. Eventually she had to have surgery at Corewell Health of St.Joseph in February of 2025. They removed 10 inches of her colon that was infected and put an Ostomy in. She was supposed to have the ostomy for only 3 months then reversal surgery on June 4th to reattach her colon to her rectum. This surgery took over 8 hours, during the surgery they tore her colon and was unable to reverse and reattach to her rectum, so they put the Ostomy back into the same spot which caused more complications. After that surgery her Ostomy was still dark, and not looking healthy. We decided it was best for her health to go to a specialty hospital. On June 17th we drove to the University of Michigan, the surgeons took her in that night for emergency surgery which came with more complications. Her intestines were tied together and the Ostomy hole was to big which caused a hernia to develop and preveted blood flowing through her old Ostomy hole and killed the tissue and caused sepsis. UofM surgeons placed a smaller hole for a new Ostomy right above the old one. The surgeons had to make a smaller hole to prevent another hernia from developing due to prior surgical complications. She now has an open incision from her lower abdomen up to her chest along with her old ostomy hole to watch and prevent infection. I normally wouldn’t ask for help but watching your mom suffer is a different kind of pain. As she’s also on medical leave from work and has been off and on for months money has been extremely tight to pay bills, groceries, gas, parking garage fees at UofM, travel expenses, to and from hospitals, doctor appointments, therapy, home health care and medical supplies for when she is able to come home, and upcomming surgeries that she will be needing. My little brother Kaiden and I and my mother would appreciate any type of donations to help relieve some the financial burden and stress from my mother during these difficult times. All donations would be greatly appreciated and used properly. My mom has the biggest heart and doesn’t deserve this but god doesn’t give his strongest people more than they can handle. Thank you so much for listening to our story and please keep my Mom, brother and I in your prayers!

Tranding Fundraisers

I’ve created this fundraiser on behalf of my dear friends, Sarah and James, who are enduring every parent’s worst nightmare — the loss of their beloved son, Leo.

We’re heartbroken to share that our dear friend Alex passed away far too soon. His light, his laughter, his incredible spirit — they touched so many, and his absence is deeply felt.

Hi everyone — Angela here, writing on behalf of Matthew (for now). On December 6th, completely out of the blue, Matthew suffered a severe stroke.
