Hi, my name is Kathy Randolph, and I’m reaching out with a mother’s heart full of worry and hope. I’m asking for help for my daughter, Kristine, and her husband, Jamie, who are going through the most difficult time of their lives.
Jamie has been diagnosed with advanced end-stage liver cancer, which has now spread to his bones and prostate. The pain he lives with every day is unimaginable, yet he has continued to work just to keep a roof over their heads and food on the table. He works at his apartment place and comes home almost every hour to sit in a hot tub of water to help with the pain. The time has come where he can’t work anymore, and Kristine is doing everything she can to care for him while also trying to hold everything else together—but it’s becoming too much for them to bear on their own.
To make matters even harder, the apartment they live in is part of Jamie’s job. If he can no longer work or, when he passes away, Kristine will be forced to move. The rent is far too expensive without his income. And she won’t be moving alone—her 25-year-old son, who has cerebral palsy, will also be moving with her. Kristine is being stretched to her absolute limit right now.
As her mother, I wish I could do more. Just last year, Kristine had her second kidney transplant and also uterine cancer. Her family has already endured so much, and now we’re asking for help.
I’m setting up this fundraiser to try and ease some of the financial burden. Between medical bills, daily expenses, and the impending need to move, the costs are simply more than they can manage alone. Every donation—no matter the size—makes a real difference. Even just sharing this page means the world to us.
Thank you for your love, kindness, and prayers during this heartbreaking time.
With deep gratitude,
