On March 10th, 2025, we went to a major pizza chain in Brownsville, Texas, to pick up an order. While at that location, my wife suffered a severe cut to her left hand because the sink in that restaurant broke and cut her while she was washing her hands. She needed emergency care, and after 10 hours in the ER, she left with 8 stitches and countless rehabilitation appointments that are still ongoing. A lawsuit is in the process by The Green Law Firm, and thankfully they are paying for her treatment. What wasn’t covered was the hospital bill and loss of income. I had to quit my job to care for Kelly and to get her to a number of appointments. Due to the negligence of this major pizza chain, our lives have been affected these past 3 months, and we are hurting.
