My name is Karen, and I’m reaching out for help as I navigate a challenging time. After suffering two traumatic brain injuries, I now experience seizures and rely on Briviact, a medication I can no longer afford. On top of this, I recently underwent two kidney surgeries between April and May 2025, and my doctors have told me I can’t lift anything for at least six months. This has made daily life and preparing for an upcoming move even more difficult.
My husband and I are in the process of moving from San Antonio, TX, and I need trustworthy help to sort, donate, and pack our belongings so we’re ready for our move in September. With my health limitations, I can’t do this on my own, and my husband is doing his best to support me. The funds raised will go directly toward my seizure medication and hiring reliable help for packing and moving. Any support, whether through donations or sharing my story, would mean the world to us and help us get through this urgent and overwhelming time.
Thank you for taking the time to read my story and for any help you can offer. Your kindness will make a real difference in our lives as we work toward a safer, healthier future.
