Help Karen Levi and Her Family Through a Medical Emergency
My sister, Karen Levi, is a loving mom, a devoted sister, and one of the most caring people you could ever meet. She would do anything for her children and her family — and now, she needs our help.
On Thursday, June 5, 2025, Karen was rushed to the hospital after experiencing severe breathing issues. Within just 15 minutes, her condition became critical. She had fluid in her lungs, suffered a collapsed lung, and then a massive heart attack. Doctors had to intubate her, put her on oxygen, and administer medication to induce a coma and paralyze her body to keep her alive.
We were told she might not make it.
But Karen is a fighter. Over the next two days, she flatlined twice — each time for nearly 10 minutes — and each time, the medical team was able to bring her back.
On Monday, June 9th, she was transported to UCSF Medical Center in San Francisco, where she remains in critical but stable condition. She’s not out of the woods yet, but she continues to fight with everything she has.
Her Children Need Your Help
Karen’s children are by her side, but being in San Francisco is financially overwhelming. They’re having to pay $300–$400 a night just to stay near the hospital — and they’re struggling.
On top of that, Karen faces a long road ahead with hospital bills, recovery costs, and household expenses piling up while she remains in intensive care.
How You Can Help
We’re asking for donations to help cover:
Lodging for her children in San Francisco
Medical and hospital bills
Essential expenses while Karen is unable to work
Any amount, big or small, will make a difference. If you can’t donate, please consider sharing this message with others.
Karen has always been there for her loved ones. Now it’s our turn to be there for her and her kids.
Thank you from the bottom of our hearts. ❤️
