Hello, my name is Cynthia, and I’m reaching out with a humble request for help on behalf of my sweet son, Jonathan.
Jonathan is 11 years old and has faced more challenges in his short life than most of us will in a lifetime. At just 9 days old, Jonathan contracted meningitis — a devastating illness that changed the course of his life forever. As a result, he lives with developmental delays and cerebral palsy, conditions that affect his ability to walk, speak, and perform many daily activities on his own.
Despite everything he’s been through, Jonathan is a bright light in our lives. His laughter is contagious, his smile lights up every room, and his strength inspires everyone who meets him.
As Jonathan continues to grow, one of the biggest challenges we face is transportation. His wheelchair no longer fits safely in our regular vehicle, making it difficult to get him to vital doctor appointments, therapy sessions, school, and simple family outings. Everyday things that many families take for granted have become stressful and, at times, impossible for us.
A wheelchair-accessible van would be life-changing for Jonathan and our family. It would allow us to transport him safely, comfortably, and with dignity — giving him the chance to be more involved in his community, attend activities, and enjoy the experiences every child deserves.
Unfortunately, these specially modified vehicles come with a high price tag, often costing over [$XX,000], and insurance does not cover these expenses. That’s why we are turning to our friends, family, and kindhearted supporters for help.
Our goal is to raise enough to purchase a reliable, wheelchair-accessible van for Jonathan.
The price can varied, and these types of vehicles can be expensive.
Every donation, no matter how small, brings us one step closer to giving Jonathan the freedom, comfort, and care he deserves. And if you aren’t in a position to donate, we would be incredibly grateful if you could share our campaign with others who might be able to help.
From the bottom of our hearts, thank you for your kindness, prayers, and generosity. Your support means the world to us, and it will help give Jonathan the opportunities and joyful moments he truly deserves.
With love and gratitude,
Cynthia
