Hello, my name is Jazmine, and I truly appreciate you taking a moment to read my story.
In March, I turned a year older. I was informed that since I turned 40 years old, it was time for me to get a mammogram. I’d never had a mammogram done; it was my first time. I’ve always done a breast examination to check for any abnormalities or tumors. Thankfully, I’d never felt a lump. However, unfortunately, to my dismay, in April, I was diagnosed with advanced Stage 3 Breast Cancer. It was shocking and devastating to hear. It has spread to the entire breast and is advanced.
My family, and most importantly, my 10-year-old daughter, are sad and worried. I am scheduled for a mastectomy on June 17th. Thereafter, I will be receiving chemotherapy sessions. I’m writing to ask if you could support my crowdfunding campaign for medical expenses. I will need your help, no matter how small, which would mean the world to me to pay some of the medical bills and products needed to make it easier for me while recuperating. I will need special bras, prosthetic breasts, and special pillows to sleep or lean on post-mastectomy. If you’re able to, please donate or even share my story; you’ll be making a real difference in my life. I have faith and hope that this journey will lead me to full remission. Thank you, everyone, for your help.
