Help Jack Malloch Recover from Traumatic Brain Injury

Hi I’m Ty Nickel a friend of the family for Jack Malloch. His father Ian and Mom Kathi, told me about the recent accident and I couldn’t be more happy to help.

Suddenly they called and said,” we are on the way to the airport to help our son, we don’t know if he’ll be alive when we get there.” Just felt like I had to do something to help them. It’s important to me because I found out the insurance company will only Medically fly him from Portugal, to Dublin Ireland. And NOT to Toronto, Canada where he lives. He needs to come HOME

Support for Jack Malloch’s Recovery

On May 22nd, 2025, Jack Malloch — a strong, kind, and determined 26-year-old — was involved in a serious car accident in Faro, Portugal. He was ejected from the vehicle and suffered a severe traumatic brain injury.

Doctors told his family it was incredible he survived the first night.

But Jack is a fighter.

We have a saying: “All the way back, Jack.”

Now begins the long road ahead — a journey of healing, rehab, and recovery. And Jack needs our help.

Why We’re Asking for Support:

Jack is currently receiving critical care overseas, and his recovery will involve:

  • Specialized brain trauma treatment

  • Long-term rehabilitation and physiotherapy

  • Medical transport and support equipment

  • Family travel and accommodation in Portugal

  • Ongoing living costs during recovery

Jack’s determination is unmatched — but even the strongest need a community to lean on. Every donation, no matter the size, brings him one step closer to the comeback we all believe in.

Please give if you can, and share this with your friends and family.

All the way back, Jack.

If anyone can do it, it’s him.

Tranding Fundraisers

I’ve created this fundraiser on behalf of my dear friends, Sarah and James, who are enduring every parent’s worst nightmare — the loss of their beloved son, Leo.

We’re heartbroken to share that our dear friend Alex passed away far too soon. His light, his laughter, his incredible spirit — they touched so many, and his absence is deeply felt.

Hi everyone — Angela here, writing on behalf of Matthew (for now). On December 6th, completely out of the blue, Matthew suffered a severe stroke.
