Silly title but serious topic—
My dog was recently diagnosed with an aggressive tumor that requires urgent surgery. Without it, his time is extremely limited.
I’ve been living in Los Angeles for a few years, and he’s been staying with my mom out of state. Last week, he was diagnosed with a cancerous anal sac tumor (yes, butt cancer). When I had to leave him with my mom several years ago, I promised him I would bring him back to LA with me when I could. Life has been happening, and now we’re in this urgent situation, and all I want is to bring him home and get him the care he needs. If he doesn’t get this surgery soon, the tumor will grow to an inoperable size, and he won’t survive more than a month or two.
Butt surgery is, apparently, somewhat complicated and therefore very expensive 🙁 We’re talking many thousands for diagnostics, surgery, and follow up care. I’m pursuing every option I can to raise funds, but realistically, donations are going to what makes this possible.
I’ll post updates, anecdotes, and thank yous here as we move forward with his care. Thank you for any support you’re willing to contribute. It’s literally life and death, so…high stakes and immense gratitude ❤️
