Help get our Army Vet to Houston for Parkinson’s Treatment

This is my Dad, Mike. He’s also Georgia’s PawPaw & one of her most favorite people in the world. My Dad is also an Army Vet.

Recently he has been diagnosed with Parkinson’s. He’s battling this every single day, and still working a full time job to provide for the family. We have FINALLY got him in the VA System and they are pushing hard for cures & help. They have secured him an appointment with an amazing team of doctors to do some more testing & possibly a brain surgery. The catch is, it’s in Houston and we are not. We are SEVERAL hours away.

We have gotten the room paid for completely, finally. & the VA has paid for the upcoming appointments. We have applied with the VA for emergency funding help and sadly, we were denied.

We are looking to raise funds to help my Dad take some time off work to get there, have these tests and procedures done, drive back, and have some recovery time. His appointment is set for June 20th, so very quickly approaching.

We appreciate any help we receive and ask that you please pray for our family in this season of life we are currently in.
