I am writing this with a heavy heart. Last week, Dustyn, suffered a stroke which resulted in him being hospitalized. While he is making great strides towards recovery every day, he still has a ways to go to get back to the Dustyn, Diesel, Dad, Boss and Bubba we all love.
The idiom “give the shirt off one’s back” was just a saying until Dustyn showed everyone its meaning. Growing up it was not an uncommon occurrence to wake up to a “stranger” sleeping on our couch because they were in need and Dustyn had stepped in with a helping hand. Now, as a local business owner, he offers his helping hand in the form of donations and sponsorships around the Davison community.
Today, we are given the wonderful and rare opportunity to help him. As he focuses on his recovery, he’s unable to work, and the medical bills are already piling up. As the primary breadwinner for his family, this is a huge burden. We’re starting this fundraiser to help ease the financial stress so he can focus on getting better. Your donations will go towards his medical expenses, rehabilitation costs, and to support his family during this challenging time. Every little bit helps, and your generosity will make a huge difference in his recovery.
