Hi, my name is Fernanda, and I’m reaching out because I’m going through a major medical crisis that has left me unable to work and struggling to cover basic living expenses. I never imagined I’d be in a position where I’d need to ask for help like this, but right now, I truly need support.
Earlier this year, I had a colon polyp removed that unexpectedly turned out to be cancerous and caused a perforation. What was supposed to be a simple recovery turned into a nightmare. I had to undergo emergency surgery, had drains placed, and was re-hospitalized shortly after. I then developed pancreatitis, which caused even more severe pain and complications. I’ve now spent over a month in and out of the hospital, and the journey is far from over.
Because of this, I’ve been unable to work and have fallen behind on rent and other basic necessities. My monthly rent is $2,500, and I still need to pay for food, bills, and transportation to medical appointments. The emotional and physical stress of this experience has been overwhelming, and the financial burden is making it even harder to heal. Your support will help me cover my rent while I continue to heal. That is usually covered by husband & myself but he has not worked in over a month because he wants to make sure I’m ok & has been doing everything for me & our family.
