Hi, my name is Julie and I have moderate to severe Crohn’s. Due to my condition, keeping a job is hard. My husband works full-time as a mail carrier, and we barely get by. We have two kids at home, who we support. I was on a program that made my medication (Stelara) cost $5 every six weeks. I was informed that the funding for that and all other programs has been cut, making my medication co-pay cost $305 every six weeks. We simply cannot afford that. Without my medications, I cannot leave my house; I require a bathroom to be available at all times. Unmedicated flare-ups cause me to be bed-bound for sometimes weeks at a time, during which I cannot eat and require IV fluids to stay hydrated as everything consumed comes directly out, making me malnourished and dehydrated. I need help paying for my medication at least until Jan. 2025 when they are hoping funding will be restored. Anything helps. Please and thank you.
