On january 27th, 2025 I almost lost my life and underwent Hartmann’s surgery for a perforated large intestine due to diverticulitis. The hospital discharged me to a “skilled nursing facility” for 3 months to recover. That skilled nursing facility not only gave me horrible ptsd but I owe $11,000 for three months of nursing care, if you can call it that, my insurance only covered fully for 20 days. I have Medicare at age 69 but a lot of hospital bills, outpatient bills and wound care bills for a hospital acquired bedsore and continued home health care and medical supplies insurance only covers so much. I have to have reversal surgery in the next 6-12 months. I am widowed and live off a fixed income any help is appreciated
