Hi, my name is Dezireé, and I never imagined I’d be writing something like this.
On August 9, 2024 my life—and my child’s life—changed forever. I was in a terrible car accident that left me with serious injuries, including a spinal injury. I’m so grateful to be alive, but the road ahead is long, painful, and uncertain.
As a single mother, this has been absolutely devastating.
I’ve been unable to work since the accident due to the physical pain and the loss of transportation.
To make matters more difficult, Lyft has denied my insurance claim, leaving me without any support from the platform I was working for when the accident occurred. But now, I need help—and that’s not easy for me to say.
I’m facing mounting medical bills, physical therapy, and the daily costs of simply keeping a roof over our heads. I’m doing everything I can to stay strong for my daughter, but the truth is—I can’t do this alone.
This fundraiser will help cover:
