Life Update …
Now that I have had some time to process this incredibly difficult news, I am ready to share that unfortunately in April, I was unexpectedly diagnosed with Stage 2 Hodgkins Lymphoma. It’s been a whirlwind of emotions and appointments, but I’m staying positive and grounded in the love around me.
I started chemotherapy in May. It’s definitely not easy, but I’m facing it with as much strength, resilience, optimism, and humor as I can muster. I’m incredibly grateful that this type of cancer is considered highly treatable, and I’m fully focused on healing and getting through this chapter with love and support.
That said, cancer is expensive — between medical bills, the cost of a wig (hello, hair loss ), and needing to reduce my work hours, it’s added up quickly. If you’d like to help ease some of this burden, please consider donating. Every contribution — no matter the size — truly makes a difference and means more than I can express.
If you’re not in a position to give, I completely understand. Your messages, prayers, and support already lift me more than you know. And if you feel moved to share this with your circle, please do. The love I feel reminds me daily that I’m not alone, and that is what keeps me going through each round of this fight.
