My youngest sister was recently diagnosed with Invasive Ductal Carcinoma breast cancer Grade 3. She found out she has breast cancer after she had surgery to remove a benign tumor from her salivary gland. She has had a great outcome so far, but with it comes more chemo, surgery to remove the cancer, and radiation to follow. But, even though everything is going to plan, it still comes at a cost. Her medical bills are rising! She is soon to lose her FMLA and will have to pay for her insurance without her employer’s help out of pocket. My sister is my best friend! Seeing what she is going through and not being able to help hurts the most!
