Help Cadan heal from a life changing accident

Hi, my name is Nicole, and I’m reaching out with a heavy heart and a lot of hope.

My 14-year old son, cadan, was recently run over by a car – something no parent is ever prepared for. It’s the kind of moment that flips your world upside down in an instant.[ (Cadan) Being rushed into the back of the ambulance and rushed to the trauma hospital i was over hearing nurses, doctors saying i wasn’t going to make it i suffered internal and external bleeding receiving a broken ankle and external cuts and wounds lost a lot of strength in my right arm, left leg and a huge cut in my right and left hip making it hard to move around, that was one of the most scariest days of my life and i’m just glad i made it out okay and have the support from my friends and family.]

Cadan had to undergo surgery yesterday morning, and while he’s now recovering at home, the road ahead is going to be long, painful, and expensive.

Cadan suffered serious injuries from the accident. A shattered ankle, Internal bleeding, tire tracks on his abdomen and lacerations all over his body and one on his hip exposing his hip bone as he wrote.

We’re incredibly grateful that he made it through surgery and is on the path to healing. But as we focus on caring for him day by day, the financial toll of this situation is becoming more than we can handle alone.

Since the accident, I’ve had to miss work to be by cadan’s side. We’ve spend money we didn’t have on travel back and forth from the hospital, and now we’re facing a tough reality;

We don’t have the funds to cover the medications cadan needs.

We can’t afford physical therapy, which is critical for his long-term recovery.

We’re struggling with basic costs just to keep up while I stay home to care for him.

Cadan is such a strong, kind-hearted kid. He’s been through so much already, and he’s handling it with more courage than I could have imagined. He deserves the best chance at a full recovery and I’m doing everything I can to make that happen for him. But right now, I need help.

I’m asking for donations to help cover:

Medications that aren’;t covered by insurance

Physical therapy and recovery support

Lost income from missing work

Travel and basic living expenses during this critical healing time

If you’re able to give – no matter how small – it would mean the world to us. And if you can’t donate, please consider sharing this with others. Just spreading the word is a gift in itself.

Thank you for taking the time to read our story, for supporting Cadan’s recovery, and for reminding us that we’re not alone. Your kindness means everything right now.

With gratitude,

Nicole

Tranding Fundraisers

I’ve created this fundraiser on behalf of my dear friends, Sarah and James, who are enduring every parent’s worst nightmare — the loss of their beloved son, Leo.

We’re heartbroken to share that our dear friend Alex passed away far too soon. His light, his laughter, his incredible spirit — they touched so many, and his absence is deeply felt.

Hi everyone — Angela here, writing on behalf of Matthew (for now). On December 6th, completely out of the blue, Matthew suffered a severe stroke.
