Help Arnav Get Urgent Surgery and Treatment
Story:
I’m raising this request on behalf of the parents of Arnav, a sweet child with autism who is now hospitalized with severe internal bleeding. He urgently needs surgery and expensive medications.
Arnav is a bright child living with autism, and he’s currently hospitalized after his family discovered blood in his stool—a terrifying and painful experience for any child, especially one with communication challenges.
Doctors have confirmed that Arnav requires urgent gastrointestinal surgery, along with a series of specialist-prescribed medications that are extremely expensive and not fully covered by insurance. These treatments are necessary to stop the internal bleeding and help him heal safely and fully.
On top of that, the family is navigating the added complexity of caring for a child with autism in a stressful medical environment. He is overwhelmed, and scared—making comfort, consistency, and care all the more essential.
