I’m trying to raise money for medical expenses, travel expenses, etc.
Anthony has been battling cancer for a year. He went through 35 rounds of radiation treatment and 5 chemo sessions, with what we thought was success. This past Tuesday, we were told at his PET scan that the cancer had aggressively spread throughout his body, so we were waiting to start more radiation next week. On Wednesday, he had 2 seizures before he made it to the hospital. We were told that we should look at hospice. They did a CT scan and found that the cancer is in his brain, causing swelling and bleeding. He woke up Friday, but with some damage to his brain. He can remember everyone, but he can’t communicate with us. He is not a candidate for treatment. Any help for the family would be appreciated.
I travel every day to Greensboro, sometimes 2 times a day. I’m missing work and we have a daughter. Our goal is for him to do his two weeks of therapy and go from there. The doctor told me yesterday that he will not improve and it’s fatal. Our daughter is 15 and her dad was always there to get her to sports and school. He can no longer do that. Any help is appreciated and prayers for us all, please. He is at Moses Cone Hospital.
