My dad, Andrew Christman, has always been a strong, determined person. After sixty years of driving trucks, he’s faced every challenge with a stubborn spirit and a clear sense of what he wants. Now, he’s facing his toughest road yet: stage 4 lung cancer. Andrew’s wish is to spend his remaining time at home, surrounded by the people and things he loves, rather than in a nursing facility. I’m doing everything I can to honor that wish and make his days as comfortable as possible.
Right now, I’m handling all of his care on my own. We’re in urgent need of help to cover basic living expenses—finding a place to rent for him, paying for transportation to doctor’s appointments, and keeping up with phone and gas bills. Every bit of support will help me focus on Andrew’s health and comfort, rather than worrying about how to make ends meet.
Your generosity would give Andrew peace of mind and allow me to spend more quality time with him, making sure his final days are filled with dignity and care. Thank you for considering helping us during this difficult time.
