Help an Au Pair in Urgent Need of Dental Treatment
Hi everyone! I’m an au pair currently living in the United States, and I’m writing this because I’m going through a very painful and difficult situation.
Lately, I’ve been experiencing intense discomfort in my teeth. After finally seeing a dentist, I was told that I urgently need a root canal, a crown, and a wisdom tooth extraction. Unfortunately, my au pair insurance doesn’t cover any dental procedures, and with my limited weekly stipend, there’s no way I can afford the treatment I desperately need.
The pain is affecting my daily life. I’m not able to eat appropriately nor chew on the right side of my mouth, and the pain is getting worse every day. It is also affecting my ability to take care of the children I work with. I’ve tried looking into other options, but dental care in the U.S. is incredibly expensive, and time is running out.
