Hi, my name is Angela, and I’m a single mother of four beautiful children, living each day with lupus — an unpredictable and challenging autoimmune disease. Life has not been easy, but I continue to push forward for the sake of my kids and those who depend on me.
Due to my condition, I’ve been classified as disabled. Yet, I stay as active as I can, making every effort to attend my doctor appointments, care for my children, and even give back to my community by helping senior citizens get around safely.
Right now, my biggest struggle is transportation. My current vehicle is no longer reliable, and without a working car, it’s become incredibly hard to get to the medical care I need and maintain any sense of stability for my kids. A dependable vehicle would mean the world to us — it would not only help me manage my own health and family responsibilities but also allow me to continue helping others in my community.
