Guillain-Barré syndrome (GBS)

Hello, my name is Sarah I’m fundraising for me and my family as I was diagnosed with Guillain-Barré syndrome (GBS) on march 24,2025, GBS is a rare autoimmune disease that attacks the nervous system causing weakness, tingling/burning in your nerves it can also paralyze you, I was paralyzed for almost 3 months I spend 51 days in ICU and weren’t sure if I was going to make it for the first 2 weeks. Still cannot walk but now in Wascana rehabilitation centre to do intense physical therapy to learn how to walk again.

im doing this fundraiser to help me with any medical expenses I’ll need, and to help my family with travelling expenses.
