GBS recovery

215 days of my friend’s life were spent in the hospital.

She got diagnosed with Gillian Barre syndrome and was devastated. Her own body was attacking her. Its an auto immune condition that attacks the peripheral nervous system causing paralysis of the hands and feet. Thank goodness, the paralysis is not permanent in most cases. However, the pain you experience before the paralysis subsides is unlike anything u’ve ever experienced before.

She didn’t know what it meant for her future and the life of her two children.she wasn’t sure she was going to be able to be a mother to her children.

She literally had to re-imagine what her life would be like with this “new normal.” So she has done the best she could in rehab and in the hospital, but whether or not she will ever walk again is a mystery to both you and I. She has given so much of herself through the entire process of trying to get better that she is exhausted.

She has finally come to this conclusion;:

Life is really short, which is so cliché but also a 100% true.

Her life has changed completely.

Gillian Barre is the worst. However, it didn’t take her life. Oddly it enhanced it. This whole thing is so weird. But she knows now that she is strong enough to endure whatever it throws at her. She will be stronger. She will work harder. She will do what it takes to adapt if she is unable to beat it. This is that last level of Mario.she is up against the dragon that’s blowing fire at her. Don’t worry, she has a lot of practice with that dragon. Thank you to everyone who checked in on her.

In today’s tough times,a few cents also matter.

Give a helping hand to a friend in need,KARMA goes a long way✌.

Lets beat GBS

P.S. – thank you in advance, god bless your soul.

Tranding Fundraisers

I’ve created this fundraiser on behalf of my dear friends, Sarah and James, who are enduring every parent’s worst nightmare — the loss of their beloved son, Leo.

We’re heartbroken to share that our dear friend Alex passed away far too soon. His light, his laughter, his incredible spirit — they touched so many, and his absence is deeply felt.

Hi everyone — Angela here, writing on behalf of Matthew (for now). On December 6th, completely out of the blue, Matthew suffered a severe stroke.
