Hey friends,
Come late July, I’ll be undergoing a surgery that will require me to take four to six weeks off work. While I’m choosing to keep the details private, this is a necessary procedure—and recovery will take time, rest, and stability.
That’s where I’m hoping for support from my community.
Without paid leave, I’ll be facing a period where rent and basic expenses are still due, but income is paused. I’m raising funds to help cover:
$2,000 = 1 month of rent and expenses
$3,000 = 1.5 months covered
$4,000 = 1.5 months, plus funds for a recliner chair (a big help for recovery) and other medical supplies, the surgical copay, and any unexpected costs that come up
A portion of this will also go toward caring for my cat, Stolas, who will be my little recovery companion.
